Key Responsibilities
- Provide structured Quran instruction based on the assigned program and student level.
- Help students improve recitation, memorization, fluency, and application of Tajweed.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback.
- Maintain an organized, respectful, and encouraging classroom environment.
- Communicate student progress and concerns with program leadership.
- Participate in teacher meetings, training sessions, and program activities when required.
- Develop and instill Islamic values and morals in students.
Required Qualifications
- Hafiz of Quran with strong Tajweed and recitation skills.
- Ability to teach Quran recitation, memorization, and Tajweed effectively.
- Ability to follow a process for frequent student assessment and progress tracking.
- Ability to maintain discipline, motivation, and encouragement in the classroom.
- Strong communication, reliability, and classroom management skills.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work in person at the assigned location.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized Islamic studies program or equivalent training.
- Ijazah or formal certification in Quran recitation, Tajweed, or memorization.
- Prior experience teaching Pre-Hifz, Hifz, Tajweed, or Quran recitation.
- Experience working with children, teenagers, or adult learners.
- Familiarity with student assessment and progress-tracking methods such as MS Excel and MS Teams.
